Account Relationship Manager

The Account Relationship Manager (ARM) is responsible for managing every aspect of customer relationships once the sales process is complete. The ARM’s goal is to maintain a close and positive relationship with his/her customers, so that they become our advocates. The ultimate goal is to ensure all customers are enthusiastic references, and are highly satisfied with our products and services. This is done through continuous contact by telephone/email and by periodic surveys/visits. The measuring criteria below will help to ensure this goal is met:

  • Maintain a high renewal rate
  • Maintain a high Net Promoter Score
  • Identify evolving needs and requirements

Responsibilities

Account Provisioning
Ensure project milestones (after contract award) are accomplished including but not limited to:

  • Project Manager for large or enterprise engagements
  • Manages transition from sales to project kickoff steps
  • Sets up initial customer call with the Sales Executive
  • Conducts External Kick Off with customer to ensure readiness for installation/configuration and training
  • Ensures customer receives Customer Success and Training materials
  • Monitors the implementation plan’s progress and customer approvals
  • Works closely with Professional Services, Operations (Training) and Product Managment throughout the implementation process
  • Ensures customer acceptance is generated and received for each service we provide
  • Single point of escalation when implementations cannot proceed

Account Retention

  • Meets with customer on a pre-planned established basis
  • Every account needs to be touched/contacted every 90 days, as a minimum
  • Promote usage and adoption
  • Ensure customer remains highly reference-able
  • Responds directly to customer “trouble” and reacts accordingly for quick resolution
  • Develops “trusted partner” relationship with pivotal customer representatives
  • Monitors status and transactions of other suppliers that partners with our software
  • Monitors strategic, service-wide interaction, communicate enterprise changes
  • Communicates complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Responds to customer inquiries/questions/etc.

Internal-Facing Activities

  • Communicates customer requirements to Product Management and Customer Success
  • Participates in Product Management sessions for new releases
  • Participates in product usage and adoption sessions
  • Participates in weekly Operations and Sprint Review meetings
  • Manages account implementation blockers ensuring timely resolution
  • Contributes to pre- and post-sales planning and sales process
  • Coordinates with Pre Sales or Professional Services for up-sale of integration work
  • Coordinates with VP of Professional Services on priority of implementations and upgrades
  • Assists in receivables collection
  • Tracks renewal and execution
  • Participates with Sales in territory objectives and account planning
  • Responsible for all internal record keeping of assigned accounts
  • Monitors Zendesk tickets for resolution

Requirements

  • Must possess interpersonal communications skills, etiquette, integrity and professionalism. The ARM is the “face” of Arxan-Apperian to our customers.
  • Must be qualified to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under stress and tight timelines.
  • Must be capable of organizing and running customer meetings to coordinate activities between several parties
  • Must be a “self-starter” with the ability to work remotely and effectivey conduct web-based meetings including computer and mobile device screen sharing
  • Must be able to travel 25% or more of the time to visit customers
  • Project Management certifications a plus but not mandatory
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk and cloud-based services a plus

Customer Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Support Engineer to work with our customers in support of the Apperian Mobile App Management and Arxan Application Protection platforms.

Our Customer Support Team is a tightly knit group with a broad set of technical skills in SaaS, mobility, web technologies, and a passion for great customer service. We work closely with the Engineering organization to deliver a quality, reliable and secure service to our customers.

As a Support Engineer, you will contribute to the success of our customers by providing them with technical assistance in all aspects of our services.

Some common tasks will include:

  • Issue triage, troubleshooting and resolution
  • Capturing and documenting support issues in Zendesk with the goal of making relevant information available to customers and team members
  • Submitting bug reports and feature requests to Development and Product, acting as a liaison between internal teams and our customers
  • Providing guidance and advice to customers on their use of the Apperian and Arxan platforms
  • Alerting Customer Success proactively about customer issues that are heading toward escalation or which require special handling
  • Contributing to the Customer Support  knowledge base and training materials and ensuring that all information is accurate, pertinent, and valuable
  • Looking for ways to improve processes, communication and systems
  • Enhancing job skills through participation in product, technology, and customer service training as it is made available
  • Assisting with production system upgrades
  • Participating in a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule

Qualified candidates must have:

  • 3-5 years experience in a customer-facing technical support role
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with mobile devices and platforms (iOS, Android, etc.)
  • Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS)
  • Fundamental understanding of computer architecture
