With over 25 years of senior executive experience in the software industry, David brings a tremendous wealth of experience in enterprise products, organizational growth, and success in creating and growing technology companies.
David has an extensive background in the software industry and most recently, he was CEO of xkoto, a cross platform enterprise database virtualization software company which was acquired by Teradata. Prior to xkoto David was VP & General Manager at Novell, where he managed the $450 million division that included Novell’s SUSE Linux and Netware operating systems, collaboration products and a number of emerging open source technologies. David joined Novell in 2003, as part of the acquisition of Ximian, a leading Linux and open source software company, where he was President and CEO. |

Chuck Goldman

Chuck founded Apperian in 2009 and leads Apperian’s strategic initiatives and business development for the company. Chuck spent eight years as a Director at Apple, Inc where he helped integrate Apple technologies into Apple’s largest education and enterprise customer infrastructures. Chuck led Apple’s iPhone Enterprise Beta Program program and helped Apple’s earliest adopters leverage iOS to empower a mobile workforce since the day it launched.
Chuck was also founder and CEO of Interactive Media Solutions, the leading provider of next-generation online recruiting tools for colleges and universities. At IMS, Chuck created America’s first “virtual open house” where students, faculty, and staff communicated in real-time and conducted virtual online leader-led campus tours. |

Brian Day

Brian Day brings 20+ years of experience in financial and operational functions with special strengths in customer, partner and investor relations, contract negotiating and general management activities.
Brian joined Apperian after serving as Chief Financial Officer of Goal.com prior to Goal.com’s acquisition by Perform Media PLC in February, 2011. Prior to Goal.com, Brian held financial and general management positions with several venture backed Companies in the Boston area including SiCortex, Inc., Gomez, Inc. and Octave Communications. Brian began his career with Fleet Financial Group where he was a Vice President in the Bank’s structured finance group. Brian has a B.A. in Economics from the University of New Hampshire, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. |

David Baeza

David’s brings 20 years of management, marketing and operations experience from VC backed startups to Fortune 1000 companies. His greatest success has been derived from building world class teams, humanizing brands and positioning products for a competitive advantage.
Most recently, David was the Vice President of Demand Generation at Citrix Online, a $400 million division of Citrix Systems He led the global demand generation team for the company’s products which included GoToMyPC, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToAssist and GoToTraining. Prior to Citrix Online, David founded a national ISP which he took public in 2000, and was Founder of a mobile content aggregator. He’s worked for the past several years as lead organizer for Twestival; benefiting Charity:Water and Concern Worldwide. |

Carlos Montero-Luque

Carlos Montero-Luque leads Apperian’s efforts to accelerate the growth of enterprise mobile applications.He has led engineering and business teams throughout his career, delivering value to customers and shareholders in startup and public companies.
Prior to Apperian, Carlos led several organizations at Novell, as VP of Engineering for ZENworks, CTO for the Identity Business Unit, and VP of Business and Product Management for SUSE Linux. Carlos joined Novell from Ximian, where he had been VP of Engineering. Prior to Ximian, he was Inktomi’s head of engineering operations in the Network Products and Wireless Divisions.

Alan Murray

Alan is responsible for building Apperian’s brand and establishing the company as the clear leader in the mobile app management space. Alan is an expert at leveraging new marketing methods to accelerate the growth of Apperian and draws from his 20 years designing and bringing innovative software solutions to a global market.
Before joining Apperian Alan was VP of Product Management at Novell. During his tenure there he oversaw Novell’s Systems and Resource Management Business Unit and the Identity and Security Management portfolio building on strong strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Novell Alan worked for GE Capital as an Enterprise Solution Architect, deep knowledge of ASP and broadband, applications on-demand and application leasing models. |

Cimarron Buser
VP Business Development

Cimarron leads Apperian’s global business development efforts and is responsible for developing new channels, markets, partnerships, and working with ISV and OEM partners. He has worked in technology for over 25 years, providing creative and visionary leadership for products and services in the technology, web and mobile areas.
Prior to Apperian, he worked with Texterity, a major provider of digital editions, and built a product, sales, and marketing organization that led the digital magazine industry by providing solutions to b-to-b, trade association, and consumer publications. Cimarron was also GM Internet Products at FaxNet, leading the group which was responsible for internet messaging solutions for the telecom industry. FaxNet was sold to Critical Path for approximately $240 million. |

Patrick Welch

Patrick Welch oversees Apperian’s worldwide sales organization. He is a seasoned startup executive with more than 16 years of experience building highly efficient sales teams.
Prior to joining Apperian, Patrick was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Aveksa, where he helped create and establish a leading position in the Access Governance Market growing the business by 5000%+ in 4 years. Prior to Aveksa he lead the Identity Management business for CA post acquisition of Netegrity, where he held various global sales management, sales executive and business development roles. During his tenure at Netegrity, he helped grow sales from $0M to $100 million+, and a valuation that went from $20M to almost $3 billion. Prior to Netegrity, Patrick was a Sales Manager at Quadrant Software, a leading AS/400 enterprise software company. |

Jeremy Majchrzak

Jeremy is a sixteen year veteran of delivering software consulting solutions, and brings his passion for customer success to lead Apperian’s Client Services organization.Prior to Apperian, Jeremy was VP of Client Services at Memento, where he was responsible for all service delivery activities – including proof of concept execution, implementation, managed services, training, and technical support.
Before joining Memento, Jeremy was Vice President, Technology Services at CA, where he led the North American Infrastructure Management delivery team of consultants and architects. Prior to CA, Jeremy held numerous professional services roles at Concord Communications, which was acquired by CA. |

Rob Friedman
Director of Engineering

Rob leads Apperian’s EASE (Enterprise App Services Environment) product development and technology organization.Rob is a passionate technologist, enterprise mobile product pioneer, and entrepreneur who strives for excellence in the projects that he works on. Rob has worked in the software and mobile industry for over 25 years.
His mobile experience dates back to 1999, when he built an enterprise mobile email product. He led engineering teams in mobile SaaS companies such as Vlingo and Groove Mobile. At Vlingo, Rob successfully delivered mobile client applications for several mobile phone manufacturers, including preinstallation on new phones from Nokia and Samsung. These projects expanded Vlingo’s reach to millions of new users. |
